Got the tickets from a friend of a friend and so glad I did. We didn't have phone or digital cameras in those days so no photos to upload but the sight of thousands of people around the bowl with lighters in the air was my first experience of such a thing. There were so many people!! We even brought the M1 to standstill in the early hours of the morning such was the volume of traffic leaving!

I was close to the stage for this concert and was the best night ever. I remember arriving by car, walking across the fields in the afternoon and getting close to the stage by night time.

Saw David for the first time on the final date of the Serious Moonlight tour. My future wife was somewhere in the audience. Boiling hot day. White light white heat was particularly memorable with superb solo by Earl Slick. Heroes was about the song I have ever heard live. A complete pro, an inspiration.
