The days before smart phones sadly so no pics. However, the atmosphere was intense, small venue, huge expectations. At 5 foot 2, I saw little more of David that an occasional pinpoint view. I should have battled my way to the front to exchange a glance with my hero. But it was my first and only concert and I was glued to the spot in total mesmerisation. It was the Outside tour. Scary Monsters was my childhood and Outside had the same vibe. The show was overwhelming. The music was powerful, David was, of course, incredible. Looking back, I cannot believe I was there. It seems so dream like. But I was, and I have the t-shirt to prove it. Note to admin: it was 26 to November 1995, Westpoint Exeter UK. I have selected Cardiff as the nearest because Exeter is missing off your venue list.Pat Grove

My first ever Bowie gig. I was 15 with my best friend Matt Day (Rip, 2020) exploding with excitement and pure love for THE man. It was late November. During The Hearts Filthy Lesson, WE threw a Father Christmas Hat onto the stage and Bowie without missing a beat laughs and points 'what a fantastic Santa's hat'. Which you can clearly hear on the live recording. Later in the set, during the song 'We Prick You', fans had started to throw flowers onto the stage. Being inventive we throw a white cuddly toy Power Ranger at as he sang line 'Toys, toys little white Toys'. The following song Was Nightflights. Bowie kneels down picks up the toy and hovers it above the stage light projecting a silhouette onto the ceiling creating this lost Space man, in timing with the moody intro of Nightflights. Unfortunatly this was one of few gigs not filmed but has remained a glorious memory.GARETH FARR
