I waited outside the stage door and got to meet Gail, Zach, Reeves and Mike who all signed my Earthling tour poster. Only one signature to get.....after the show I raced to the side entrance and saw David get into his vehicle, he signed some autographs but despite my furiously waving a pen and poster at him he simply looked up and said "sorry, we've got to rush"...and that was it. An earthling poster signed by all the band, but not David. Never had a chance again.....so close yet so far....

So, another wonderfully intimate evening (I love the SBE!) - didn't quite have the electricity of the Hanover Grand Show, but still the finest rock star enjoying his new work. A show full of energy and invention. And lucky enough to share it with my brother and a close friend.
